FAQs

Before the Wedding

Guests

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. The wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I bring my child with me?

Due to space limitations, we are limiting the amount of children present at the ceremony and reception.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP online?

The deadline to RSVP is 11:59pm Eastern on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. All invited guests will receive official invitations in the mail; however, all RSVPs will only be accepted via the online RSVP form on this website.
No save-the-dates will be sent for the wedding.

What should I do if I can't make it?

If you know from the beginning that you are unable to attend, please still complete the RSVP form to let the planning team know your seat is open. Please note that if you are deciding to attend virtually, still RSVP as a remote attendee.

However, if you have already RSVP'ed "Yes" and find out after the fact that you are unable to attend, please contact Erin Combs at erinmtcombs@gmail.com to let her know so the planning team can adjust accordingly. Please write "RSVP Change" in your email's subject line.

Gifts

Where are you registered?

The couple has a link to their registry on this Registry Page.

Can I purchase a gift I saw on the registry and bring it with me to the wedding?

Because the wedding will take place in a separate city and state from where the couple currently lives, it is strongly recommended that any gifts be purchased via the Registry to avoid any issues with shipping or transporting the items. However, physical cards are absolutely welcome should you like to bring one to the event.

Lodging

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Yes, we have a hotel block for guests at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel - conveniently located within walking distance of the wedding venue - for the dates Friday, July 22nd - Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. However, guests are not required to stay at this hotel. Please review the Where to Stay page for other nearby lodging options. That said, all guests are welcome to stay anywhere they would like while in town for the wedding.

Do I have to stay at one of the hotels listed on this site?

No one is required to stay at any specified hotels, but the planners have secured a block rate if you book with ABC hotel by XYZ date. The specified hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the wedding venue. Regardless of where you choose to stay, please remember that Atlanta-area traffic tends to be unkind to schedules. Be sure to leave adequate time for transit to ensure you reach the wedding venue on time to check any luggage and be seated before the ceremony begins. The ceremony will be short, and the doors will be locked once the ceremony begins.

Pre-Wedding Activity

Are there any pre-wedding events I can attend?

There are no pre-wedding events planned for all attendees; but if you are flying in with time to spare, feel free to review suggestions on What to Do in Town.
